I've been stuck in a bit of a nail rut lately and have literally painted my nails the same color for the past 3 weeks. It's hard this time of year, since we're in a seasonal transition. It's still technically winter but getting closer and closer to spring. I've been wanting to wear colors that aren't dreary but aren't exactly bright and bold, either. My go-to color has been Blowing Raspberries -- a deep pinkish-red.

New Day, Same Nails
Yesterday was busy -- filled with work, errands, cooking dinner, and eventually, crashing early on the couch. I woke up on the couch...late...and was wide awake. Hate it when that happens. So...I did the only logical thing I could think of: I painted my nails.

I have an addiction to Butter London polishes, but holy moly are they expensive! I've only bought them during Ulta's buy 2 for 1 deal (2 for $14, I think). I'd like to expand my collection but would prefer to find another great brand that doesn't wreck my budget. That's where YOU come in! Does anyone have any great brand suggestions? Also, what colors are you wearing during this time of year? I'm ready to switch out my polish, but I need some help!

I've never used Butter...eek I know! Your nails look gorgeous so I need to try it. So shiny!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks so much! They're pricey, but they're also the best. :)
Deletei love OPI and China Glaze. They're both a little more expensive than Sally Hansen or whatever, but they're great. and less than $14, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI've definitely tried OPI - love it. I don't think I've ever used China Glaze, though...I will check into that. Thank you, Kate!
