Chevron Wreath

On Saturday, I posted here about a wreath I was planning to make for my mom.  The original inspiration picture is amazing, and it took a little bit of playing around to figure it out.  Here's the original:




And, here's my version:



I wasn't able to find any decent chevron ribbon to use, so I had to opt for fabric that I cut into strips.  I think that's why it looks so much fuller than the original.  If I were to re-do it, I think I'd cut my strips a little thinner, but, overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

    I love the way the wreath turned out and think I may like it more than the origonal. I think one reason way I like it more, is because I like the feel of 3 letters versus 1. But definitely would love to have something similar on our front door.
